Each sculpture in the series will be embedded with a quote from a broad range of literary sources. Each quote is an instance of a personification of nature. This sculpture, entitled Nature Shadows Him, incorporates a phrase from Nabokov's short story Signs & Symbols. The following work, When Enoch Heard, is from the Book of Moses in The Pearl of Great Price, a volume of Mormon Scripture. The third sculpture will contain text from Zachary Mason's The Lost Books of the Odyssey. As currently planned the fourth sculpture will hold a quote from the Qur'an.
